Birchgrove Yacht Service are repowering specilists. Beside the many production vessels we have re-engineered, we have also fitted engines into one-off vessel's. The boat above is a WWII Line Boat built by Slazenger for the war effort. The frames are laminated just like a wooden tennis racquet. The previous diesel was a large heavy and, unreliable unit. The new D2-55 installed has given the boat a new lease of life and, very lively performance. We have worked on many timber cruisers, putt-putts, steel and other non-production boats. |
